States' unemployment steady or improved -- BLS

Regional and state unemployment rates were unchanged or slightly lower in October, according to a U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics report released Friday. South Dakota reported the lowest rate at 3.1 percent, while Michigan and Oregon had the highest rates at 7.6 percent each. View the full BLS report.
