50-state scorecard of presidential contests and governors’ endorsements
This chart tracks each state’s presidential primary or caucus results and the governor’s pick in each race, as of June 13, 2008.

Before Hillary Clinton conceded the Democratic race to Barack Obama on June 7, she had earned 11 endorsements from Democratic governors — the same number that Obama had at that point. Since then, Obama has received the official backing of the six uncommitted Democratic governors from Colorado, Kentucky, Montana, New Hampshire Tennessee and West Virginia. Meanwhile, five Republican governors originally backed other candidates before John McCain clinched the nomination, including former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney or former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.
